Costs Involved in Moving to Australia or New Zealand

Generally you will find that there will be an initial outlay for costs associated with moving to and being able to work in Australia. Some of these costs are reimbursed by employers upon arrival and others can be used as a tax deduction. The following list outlines the general costs associated with relocating to Australia- please note that it is a guide and is subject to change.

Medical Board  Registration - $300 to $500 depending on the state of Australia/ NZ

Certificate of Good Standing – (varies from country to country) from your current and previous Medical Boards

Translation of documents if they are not in English originally

Visa application fee - $180 - $250 and cost of Medicals and x-rays and Police Clearance Certificates (if applicable)

Travel Expenses - Airfares to Australia and also Local Travel to final destination
