for Australia and New Zealand
Migration advice for
permanent residency/ citizenship to Australia and New Zealand can
only be given by registered migration agents - see www.themara.com.au
for further details about registered migration agents.
In general,
migration in to Australia is assessed on an individual basis
looking at factors such as:
-
Whether you have
medical registration
-
Whether you have
a sponsored job offer
-
Whether you are
working in a rural area (Area of Need)
-
Whether you are
doing a Migration Occupation on the Demand List
-
Whether you have
relatives already in Australia
-
Whether you
speak English
-
Other factors
Each factor
contributes a certain number of points and if you exceed the
amount deemed necessary for permanent residency, you are granted
it
Usually, most
doctors from overseas, work for an initial period on a temporary
visa and then apply for permanent residency once in Australia/ New
Zealand when they have fulfilled more criteria for obtaining
points.
