Preface

This book was written in 2006 by a group of six doctors who had made the big move from overseas to Australia or New Zealand. We had all obtained our primary medical degrees from countries outside of Australasia and had migrated at different times of our medical careers to this part of the world. Our countries of medical qualification are the UK, USA, South Africa, Germany, India and Republic of Ireland. Our combined medical experience is over 100 years and so this is to the best of our knowledge the most definitive medical guide to working in Australia or New Zealand published.
