Can my spouse/ husband/ wife/ defacto work in New Zealand and Australia?

 

All New Zealand work permits granted to doctors allow their spouse to work in New Zealand. In Australia, if a doctor is traveling on a Medical Practitioner visa (subclass 422), Temporary Business Long Stay Visa (subclass 457) their spouse is eligible to work. If they are traveling on an occupational trainee visa (442) their spouse does not  have work rights in Australia.

All dependent children are able to travel with the doctor but they will require medical clearances too.
